JICA volunteers working in Uganda organized a choir’s competition, which focus on forest conservation. The aim of this competition is to increase awareness of the importance of conserving Ugandan natural forests among young generations. Our hope is to be able to hand over beautiful forest to our next generations.

The competition was judged by you chorus music file data, which were recorded and submitted by participants. Wherever you are, if participants have recorder and a computer network to upload the files, They were able to participate the competition.

Tree planting activity by gold award winner of the competition






Archibishop Dr,Kiwanuka Nakirebe Primary School won the gold award.














We provided seedlings to their school to plant in their compound.







They enjoyed the tree planting activity and also environmental education.













They received the gold award certificate and a picture book. 
The picture was made and given by Japanese high school students who came to know about this competition.









Students seemed enjoyed the book.The story was about deforestation and recovery.











We hope Ugadan forest is forever!!
